Working together to strengthen community

Zargon – ESTMA Reporting Template 2019 – E933522

Blue Sky Resources is dedicated to the Communities and First Nations in which we are located. Our goal is to leave these areas better than the way we found them.

We encourage our staff to participate in volunteering and we are planning our first Blue Sky Community Day for the Fall of 2022. This will allow staff to volunteer within the community for charities of their choice.

Mini Stick Arena in Whitecourt, AB

In the Fall of 2022, Blue Sky donated to the creation of the Mini Stick Area in the Whitecourt Arena. We are sure this space will get lots of use by kids of all ages!

Back to School BBQ in Whitecourt, AB

Blue Sky also participated in a back to school program with Brogan Safety, to give school supplies for grade 1&2 students in the Whitecourt area.
We packed 100 bags full of supplies, cooked hot dogs and burgers, had snow cones and pop AND a bouncy castle!
It was the first year for this event and we are looking forward to doing this again next year. It was a great day had by all. It felt great to be back in the community again!

Blue Sky and PTFN as one!

Blue Sky Resources recently donated to Peerless Trout First Nation (PTFN) Treaty Days Festival that took place in August 2022.  We have also signed an agreement with Paul First Nation to will ensure members have access to training and employment opportunities in industrial sectors. Finally, we are working with several First Nations to develop Summer Student programs, so we can mentor youth and rehabilitate sites within the First Nations. Our first summer hiring Summer Students from PTFN was a huge success!

We will continue to forge new relationships in our communities and ensure we contribute in meaningful ways. If you have an idea for how Blue Sky can make a difference in your community, please e-mail info@bsrl.ca.

The Act requires extractive entities active in Canada to publicly disclose, on an annual basis, specific payments made to all governments in Canada and abroad.
